nearly there...

four mornings ago, i found myself getting emotional as i write this part of my strama paper. this was minutes away before i print and meet the 12nn deadline. this is the last paper that i am writing for my mba, it still needs a lot of editing, revisions and more in-depth analysis on some parts before it gets the prof's signature and be defended in front of a three-person panel...but then, i am nearly there...

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

This has been a very humbling journey…my heartfelt gratitude to:

Mom, JL and Jenjen – for the unconditional love and selfless financial and moral support. You never questioned my intentions to pursue MBA, instead, you provided the means and the encouragement that brought me to where I am right now. Never did I feel alone during the late nights and sleepless days as the time zone difference made it possible for you to be virtually present with me. Thank you for the calls and the YM chat sessions that incessantly reminded me not to give up.

Dad, Fe and Jackie – for the understanding during the times that I would put myself into seclusion whenever I feel the pressure of schoolwork and stress of the daily grind. Dad, thank you for the patience, for replying to my questions and getting the answers that I need about the company. Fe, thank you for taking care of me, my friends (school and events), you kept us well-nourished! And Jackie, for the comic relief, please do not hurry to grow up so soon!

Ria, Jackie, Ace and Dict – for allowing me to be mentally and physically absent during the days when there were conflicts in events and schoolwork schedules. Your understanding and support are very much appreciated. You keep me sane and young with the happiness and love you provide in my life.

She, Rhesa, Ria and Nes – for the friendship that you allowed us to share. The late nights, the Taft and Greenhills campuses’ adventures, highs and lows of MBA, and the emotional, mental and physical fatigue were all worth it because I learned with you. You feel what I feel, that why I am more thankful for the encouragement because you give it sincerely and during the times that we really need it most. Here’s to the friendship that I discovered because of MBA and will keep beyond MBA.

Prof. Elfren S. Cruz – for the discipline, knowledge and life-lessons. In the fourteen weeks of being in your class, you made my MBA journey complete and well worth it.

My Friends – for the understanding whenever I last-minute cancel appointments, forget get-togethers and fail to attend special occasions (or even greet you during birthdays!). You have been supportive of my endeavors; you will always be in my heart.

The GSB Professors – for the insights and unselfishly sharing your knowledge. You have the noblest profession. Keep the fire burning.

The GSB Community – for keeping the fort organized and efficient. You make our MBA lives bearable and manageable.

To the Lord, Almighty – for the strength, guidance and blessings…and for generously allowing me to be enveloped by His love through my family and friends.
